ABOUT THE CREATOR...

J. Eric Sandoval grew up in Sterling, Illinois playing the violin, piano, and guitar; has been known to play a little mandolin and bass, and most recently has taken up a fond affection for the ukulele. If it’s got strings, Eric can have it figured out in no time. At 17 right out of high-school, he enlisted in the US Navy and served aboard the USS Dahlgren DDG-43 from 1990 – 1992 stationed out of Norfolk, Virginia. In the subsequent years he studied music and then left college to make his way to Los Angeles in 1996 to play music and lived a colorful life best left to fiction until he met Akane Aikawa in 2003. The two married soon afterwards and together they started Hotdog n’ Bun as a t-shirt company placing t-shirts in various local Los Angeles clothing boutiques. Later he facilitated a position for Hotdog n’ Bun as an outsource vendor for Paramount Studios’ Digital Interactive Media department. He’s worked on various film, television, and video-gaming projects in various capacities. Beyond his passions for film, television, and music, Eric’s personal interests include international affairs, foreign policy, geopolitics, social issues, and socionomics.
