and prefers not to be too well known in the public eye. The only people
that he seems to warm up to, are the ones who serve him food and drink at
some of his favorite haunts. Vladimir does, however, like to surround himself
with extremely intelligent people, and holds a masters degree in economics
himself as well. He’s a master chess player, and is known to have
played with, and beaten some of the very best. |

Single? Exes? Vladimir Bykov is perpetually single, thinking that
there’s just too many women out there to pick just one. He doesn’t
usually enjoy the company of a woman for extended periods of time, unless
they’re remarkably intelligent, and is a bit of a misogamist. |
| What
he does and why? Vladimir works with a number of former soviet
economists and mathematicians to create a daisy chain scheme in which they
create a string of companies to create a massive paper trail that exists
only on paper. By the time auditors and investigators unravel the series
of transactions to determine the tax liability, a burn company disappears
without a trace of records or assets, thus pocketing fifty cents per gallon
in federal and state taxes which enables them to sell petroleum products
below cost, which helps them to force legitimate competitors out of business.
Not to mention the bombings, assaults, and kidnappings to further force
out competition. Vladimir also engages in grand theft, using stolen credit
card numbers to fill the tanks of a small fleet of retrofitted super-tank
cars to steal gasoline and sell it under cost at his stations. They extend
fuel, using tax-free additives such as alcohol or transmix, rigging fuel
pumps, manipulating dyed fuels designated for off road purposes, and selling
lower grade fuel as a premium product. Vladimir Bykov truly has a business
acumen that puts him in a class all his own, because he was not only into
gas, but he was into Medical Insurance Fraud, cloned cell-phones, narcotics,
and massive money laundering schemes. |
| What
are his goals? Vladimir is becoming more and more interested in
banking and finance, having personally spent time in a lot of different
offshore tax jurisdictions. He would be absolutely thrilled for an opportunity
to buy his way into an offshore bank, so he can work his magic, with his
merry bunch of money laundering masterminds. |
